This post has steps mentioned to connect to Virtual Qatar using a client on an Android device.
Install and Connect
- Install the VMware Horizon Client for Android from the Google Play Store.
- Accept the end-user license agreement by touching ACCEPT
- Open VMWare Horizon Client on your Android device.
- On the Welcome screen, add server.
- In the Server Name or Address field, type virtual.qatar.cmu.edu. Type Virtual Qatar in the Server Description, you may also leave this field blank.
- Touch Connect.
- On the Connection Serverscreen, enter your Andrew userID and password. If not already selected, select the Qatar domain.
- Touch Connect.
- Touch Virtual Qatar. Your Android device will display the Virtual Qatar desktop and may also display basic gesture help.
- After initial setup is completed, your Android device will display a Virtual Qatar icon for easy access.
