We are regularly being exposed to emails with malicious attachments. We have seen two such attempts in the past 24 hours.
While the email system catches the vast majority of such email, some slip through. When that happens, we usually send a “phishing attack” or similar email warning to you.
Below we show you how email is used to install malware on your system. If you receive a similar email, please forward it to us at qatar-infosec@qatar.cmu.edu and then delete it from your account.
