Back in the Spring semester, IT installed digital clocks in all classrooms and lecture halls. The time on these clocks is synchronized with our network time service. This provides a consistent and accurate time across all campus digital clocks.
This semester, IT installed the room signage displays for classrooms, lecture halls, and conference rooms. Currently, the time displayed on the room signage is not synchronized with any network time service. You may notice that the time displayed on the room signage can drift by few minutes. We have already started working with the vendor to deploy updates to synchronize the time displayed on the room signage with our network time service. In the meantime, our AV team is already checking the time displayed on the room signage and have been adjusting the time manually as needed.
